Spearheaded by Chef Benny Se Teo, Eighteen Chefs was founded in 2007, a casual MUIS Halal-Certified Western restaurant, known for their Cheese Baked Rice which allows diners to customise their meals to their preferences, and wide variety of affordable Western cuisine with a local twist.

Chef Benny built the restaurant on the philosophy of a social enterprise which hires youths at risk and ex-convicts to help them re-enter the workforce. After undergoing several failures, Chef Benny emerged victorious as he has now expanded operations to over 10 restaurants in Singapore. Chef Benny is also the proud recipient of the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise of the Year award in 2012.
